Elsa Hair Tutorial Frozen

So today I tried out Elsa's french braid from frozen and I'm pretty pleased with the results :)
Here's a step by step guide with pictures.

                                                      Step 1
Curl the top part of your hair. It could be with tongs, heated rollers, velcro rollers but this step isn't necessary it just creates more volume in the front. Of course with using heat on your hair you're going to need to use heat protector. I used Style Expertise defense protecting heat styling spray from Superdrug and the Lee Stafford Nourishing Argan Oil Big Fat Hair Tongs. I got mine at Argos. These create more voluminous and big curls which is perfect for volume.

Step 2
Tease the front of your hair in 1 inch sections to create more volume. If you didn't do the first step you're gonna want to focus on this step. I just used my brush.
 Step 3
Start french braiding the back of you hair. To french braid you start off with 3 pieces of hair as normal then as you go add more hair to each side after crossing over. After all of your hair is in the braid you want to continue the braid to the front before securing it with an elastic at the end of the braid.

Step 4

To create Elsa's braid you're going to want to pull apart the braid loosening it to make it look fuller.

Step 5
You now going to want to take bits out at the front to create the wisps and run them to the back of your head. To keep all this in place hairspray is your best friend. As I don't have any and I like the way the wisps looked I skipped the hairspray.

To finish off the braid you might want to accessorize like Elsa's braid. If not you're done.

Please comment if this helped you or tweet your pictures of the braid to my twitter @HannahMay356

Please comment if you want me to do more like this and please follow my blog :)

Thank you
